Passed peacefully away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Health Science Centre. Leo John Hynes in his 71st year. Predeceased by his son Rodney; father Stephen Hynes; brothers-in-law Stewart Mitchell and Joe Wade; father in law Edmund Mitchell. Leaving to mourn his wife of 52 years Pauline (nee Mitchell); mother Jessie Hynes; mother-in-law Grace Mitchell; children Carl (Bonnie), Craig (Mary), Wally (Kelly) and Lisa (Dean); goddaughter Jennifer (brother Stephen and Kim); sister Ina Hynes; niece Suzanne; sister-in-law Barb Mitchell; brother-in-law Wall (Joyce); sister-in-law Selena Wade; grandchildren Scott (Shannon), Matthew, Spencer (Lisa), Michael, Adam, Brittany (Scott), Brittany, Arianna, Erin (Nick) and Tabatha (Andrew); special friend Rev. Gary Parsons; aunt Marg Neary and special family friend Sandi Miller. As well as a large circle of family and friends. At Leo's request cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. from Holy Rosary Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
