Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, April 2, 2015 William J. Bradbury of Bay Roberts aged 88 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Florence Bradbury (nee Atkins); wife: Evelyn Bradbury (nee Walsh); brothers: Fred (Annie) Bradbury, George (Sarah) Bradbury; sisters: Evelyn Bradbury, Frances and Annie Bradbury-deceased in infancy; brother-in-law Ambrose Mugford. Leaving to mourn with fond memories: daughters, Barbara (Harold) Dawe, Patricia (Hubert) Sommerton; sons Jason (Maria) Bradbury, Hubert (Leslie-Ann) Bradbury; Sisters: Florence Mugford, Jean (Bill) Sparkes; 13 Grandchildren;
28 Great-Grandchildren; Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach. Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Sunday , April 5, 2015 from 10:00 - 12:00 Noon, 2:00 - 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place from St. George's Anglican Church, North River on Monday, April 6, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. with interment to follow at St. George's Anglican Cemetery, North River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's memory to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
