PARSONS, Mrs. Violet Gladys- Passed away at her late residence on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, Mrs. Violet Gladys Parsons (nee Mugford) aged 90 years, of Clarke\'s Beach. Predeceased by her husband Samuel Parsons (February 12, 1984); six brothers and two sisters. Leaving to mourn two sons: David (Rosemary) of St. John\'s, Carl of Clarke\'s Beach; three daughters: Julie (Norman) Batten of St. John\'s, Barbara (Absolam) Gosse of Bay Roberts, Carol Parsons of Clarke\'s Beach; six grandchildren: Thomas Lane, Dr. Derrick (Jackie) Batten, Dennis Batten and Douglas (Pam) Batten, Adam and Darrin Gosse; four great-grandchildren: Issac and Luke Batten, Henry and Katherine Batten; sister-in-law Irene Mugford, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore\'s Funeral Home, Clarke\'s Beach. Visitation Wednesday 3 p.m. - 5 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., Thursday 1:30 p.m. - 5 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., Friday 10:30 a.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Clarke\'s Beach United Church, Clarke\'s Beach. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Conception Bay Highway, Clarke\'s Beach. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund or the SPCA.
