Peacefully, in the early morning hours of Friday, April 10, 2015 of Dianne Lorraine McKenna, dearly loved wife of her devoted husband, Francis, Sherwood, P.E.I., age 56 years.
Dianne was predeceased by her dear parents, James Lester and Ena Mae Smith, Nine Mile Creek, P.E.I.
Loved and adored by her brothers; Grant (Veronica), Sidney (Glenna), David (Mary Lynn), Trevor and Leonard (Christina). Fun loving Auntie Di to Vanessa, Jessica, Alyssa, Jodi Mae, Adam and Pierce and Special Great-Auntie Di to Charlotte. Dianne was a special part of the McKenna Family, whom she deeply loved – parents-in-law, Audrey McKenna (the late Cyril); brothers and sisters-in-law, Linda, Howard (Debbie), Donna (Lennie), Douglas (Shirley), Dianne, Marlene, Garth (deceased), Brenda (Brent) and Paul (Kelly); and many very special nieces and nephews and their children. Dianne’s “Tuesday Night” Girls will miss her greatly, as will her co-workers and clients at Tremploy.
Visitation will be held at the Belvedere Funeral Home on Sunday evening, April 12, from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, April 13, at 1 p.m.
Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, donations to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital would be greatly appreciated. The wonderful care Dianne received there was truly amazing!
