Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by family on April 10th 2015 Aylmer (Al) Pinksen; originally of Wild Cove, White Bay. Predeceased by granddaughter Michelle Pitcher, and son in law Edward Pitcher. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his wife of 60 years; Shirley, son Don (Charlene), daughter Sandra Tizzard (Charlie), grandchildren; Mark Pitcher, Alicia Pinksen (Chris Urgl), Kirsten (Jeff) Lewis and Erin (Brad) Adams, great grandchildren; Stella, Virginia, Mitchell and Eleanor, eight brothers and sisters; Doris (Don) Harris, Viola Shea, Ivor (Shirley) Pinksen, Inez (Doug) Tulk, Eugene Pinksen, Eric (Mabel) Pinksen, Verna (Wayne) Squires, Betty (Dave) Dunne, brother and sister in-laws; Dave (Lorraine) Fowlow, Sadie (Don) Churchill, Ron (Connie) Fowlow, John (Barb) Fowlow, as well as a large number of other family and friends. Cremation will have taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., on Sunday from 2p.m. -4p.m. and 7p.m. - 9p.m., on Monday from 10a.m. - 12noon. The Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Monday, April 13th, 2015, from First United Church, Mt. Pearl. Inurnment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
