It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Heinz Heckmann at age 65 on April 7, 2015, from a sudden cardiac arrest. Heinz will be lovingly remembered by his wife Adele, daughter Anna (Matthew), grandson Alexander, brother Gerd (Annette), nephew Gregor and many extended family and friends in Germany and Canada.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hardworking hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 18, 2015, at 2 p.m., at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
