It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Gregory Joseph MacDonald on April 13, 2015.
Loving husband of 66 years to Elizabeth (Betty Ryan), loving father to Joe (Linda), Colleen (Jim) McGuire, Trish, Karen, Pauline, John, Judy (Daniel) Murray and grandfather to eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Greg was preceded by his eldest son Lawrence 'Butch' and infant son Gregory.
An all-around accomplished horseman Greg started his harness racing career in 1962 campaigning in the Maritimes and Eastern United States.
A home service celebrating his life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harness Horse Youth Foundation @hhyf.org.
