It is with great sadness that the family of the late Guy Edwin Snooks announce his passing on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 76 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 51 years Catherine; sons: Carl, Paul (Janice), Jeff (Linda), Keith and Ashley (Connie); grandchildren: Carl Jr., Nicole, Perry, Sarah, Leah, Travis, Tyler, Mason, Brittany, Emily, Jordan, Courtney and Madison; great-grandchildren: Allie and Londyn; sisters and brothers: Myrtle, Austin, Shirley, Raymond, Irene, Ruby, Reuben, Ricky and Susan; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Ellen, Wilfred, Reg, Tony, Jacqueline, Edith, Carolyn, Donna, Alex and Fred; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandson Derek, parents Thomas and Susan Snooks, brother Hayward, parents-in-law Jack and Jessie Strickland, sister-in-law Ruby. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday and Thursday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Home in Curling with Rev.
