(nee Learning) Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, Florence Jane Attwood, aged 78 years. Predeceased by her husband Frank in 1978; brothers: Frederick, Harold and Allan (Gale) Learning; sister Ruby Cobb (George). Leaving to mourn two sons: Paul (Joanne) and Daryl (Connie), England; four grandchildren: Zachary, Samantha, Julia and Ethan; two brothers: Robert (Ruby) and Arthur (Doris), Nova Scotia; two sisters: Gladys Long (Herbert) and Rosalie Learning; special sister-in-law Yvonne (Bonnie) Brown and special friends Margarite and Tom Chancey; also a large number of relatives and friends. Special thank you to the staff of St. Patrick's Mercy Home for the care and support shown to Florence during her stay. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday.
