PHILLIPS, MAXWELL EUGENE
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Max Phillips, at the White Rapids Manor on April 17, 2015. Max was born in Tracy, NB, on October 25, 1925 to the late Helene and Stuart Phillips.
Along with his parents, Max was also predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Eileen Phillips, his brother Ewart Phillips and brother-in-law, Reginald LeGassie.
Max was a WWII veteran and belonged to Branch 55 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Max worked as a machine operator for Canadian Pacific Railroad and was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church.
Max is survived by three sons; Bernell (Margaret), Lonnie (Debbie), Scott (Susan) Phillips, one sister Sandra (Tan) Legassie, six much loved grandchildren; Shawn (Jennifer), James, Krista, Michael, Calvin and Justin, several nieces and nephews.
Visitations will take place at Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville NB on Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 6 to 8pm. Funeral service will be at the Tracy United Baptist Church on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11am with Rev. James Harrison officiating. Interment will be in the Tracy Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
