CASTONGUAY, ISIDORE
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Isidore R. Castonguay of Richibucto Rd, Fredericton, at the Chalmers hospital Saturday, April 25, at the age of 72.
Isidore had a full life as a long haul driver for Sunbury Transport and AYR Motor Express. He also served his community of Drummond and Grand Falls as a police officer and volunteer firefighter. In his retired five years, he was a commissionaire at the Fredericton Airport.
He is survived by his son Michel of Grand Falls and his daughter Lise of Montreal, brother Nil-Paul Bobby Castonguay of Chatham, Ontario, as well as wonderful grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends along the way. He will be greatly missed by all.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls (www.oregans.ca), visitation will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9pm and Thursday from 2 to 4pm, with services at Eglise de Saint-Michel, Drummond, NB at 4:30pm.
