Passed away peacefully at his home in Cox's Cove on Sunday, April 26, 2015, David G. Brake at the age of 67 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 47 years Judy (nee Rice); son Dean Brake, Willowdale, Ontario; brother Wayne Brake, Meadows; sister Bernice (Robert) Wetmore, Everett, Ontario; brothers-in-law: Jim (Prudy) Rice, Labrador City and Vince (Lily) Rice, Robert's Arm; sister-in-law Mary Brake, Meadows; special nephew Rodney (Brenda) Brake, Meadows; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Edith Brake, sisters Eileen (Harry) Brake, Ena (Reggie) Brake, Ida (Eli) Park and Nela (Don) Elliott, brother Noel Brake and father-in-law Selby Rice. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Home Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Major Raymond Janes officiating.
