It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frederick Blake announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the age of 77 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings: Elizabeth (Clifton) Gaudon, with whom he resided, Judy (Ronald) O’Brien, Gertie (Harold) Dalton, Jim Blake, Susan Blake, Helen (Melvin) Locke, and Linda (Bill) Austin; as well as a large circle of nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Bartholomew and Daisy, brother Lemuel Blake and sister Shirley Webb. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from First United Church with Reverend Harry Whitehorne officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
