(1954-2015)
With heavy and broken hearts, the family of Teala Eileen (Hope) Cain, loving and devoted mother to Tera, announce her unexpected passing on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the Saint John Regionnal Hospital. Teala, daughter of Randolph and Vona (nee Shears) Hope was born on August 24, 1954 in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Teala was a graduate of UNBSJ and a very capable woman. Her career was lengthy and she wore many hats. She was a coordinator for the RCMP, inspecting new graduates and helping them to find postings. She was in Technical Documentation Support with Nortel. Teala taught English to immigrants and spent some time with the P.R.U.D.E organization. Teala’s greatest passion was for children though, and she spent several years as an Educational Assistant at SJHS and most recently at Prince Charles. She was outgoing, loving and kind and will be missed by so many.
Along with her loving parents and only daughter Tera, Teala will be sadly missed by her brothers Zane (Marion) Spryfield, NS, Nathan (Patricia), Tennyson (Rose), Bobby (Leona) and Morgan (Gwen) all of Saint John; sisters Vona MacMillan (Danny) Charlottetown, PEI and Anita Barrie (Kevin) Lower Millstream, NB, her special friend Jorge Linares, as well as, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
She was predeceased by Tera’s father, Mark Cain, infant son Jeremiah and very recently by her brother Kirk.
Arrangements under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visiting Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held, Friday, May 8, 2015 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm with interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow the burial at the funeral home.
