John Kreiger

Passed suddenly away on Monday, March 24, 2008, doing something he loved, A Husband, a Dad, a Poppy, a Volunteer. Dad was involved with many things, always wanting to help people. Dad's efforts were shown through helping the needy at the Gathering Place. Dad also loved flying and it showed through his volunteer work at C.A.S.A.R.A (Civil Air Search and Rescue). Thank you Jack for helping people who needed it most when they were in great despair. A Husband will always be loved. A Dad will always be your mentor. A Poppy will always live on in the hearts of younger people and his star will shine in the heavens. Deeply missed by wife Marilyn; sons: Rod (His Flying Wing), also Isabelle, Scott (His Ocean Goer) also Seanne; grandchildren: Joshua (Pop's Helper), Chelsea (Pop's Big Girl), Nicholas (Pop's Computer Guru) and Reilly (Pop's Little Dancer); grandchildren's mothers: Nicole and Cathy; sadly missed by: Myrtle Martin (grandparent), Patsy (Jack) Bishop, Robert (Alma) Kreiger, Kim, Mother and Father (deceased), Barbara Whelan (Terry), Wanda Murphy and Tim Hayward, Ron Martin (deceased); also sadly missed by close friends John and Alda Dunne as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral details to be announced. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to The Gathering Place.Dad, don't ever stop your giving waysand always remember we love you.
