Annie Wheadon
Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Monday, May 11, 2015, Annie K. Wheadon of Western Bay, age 96 years. Born in Great Paradise, Placentia Bay, daughter of Nicholas and Ann Flynn. Predeceased by husband: Gordon 2007, granddaughter: Tina Marie, grandson: Patrick, great-grandchildren: Peter and Jessica; parents: Nicholas and Ann Flynn, sisters: May and Bride, brothers: Jack, Bill, Pat and Nick. Left to mourn, two daughters: Shirley (Rendell) Baggs, Adams Cove and Ena (James) Roberts, Clarke’s Beach; three sons: Nicholas and Patrick (Pauline), both of Western Bay and Gordon (Linda), Foxtrap; thirteen grandchildren: Wendy (Roger), Henry (Ella), Bonnie (Todd), Karen, Cindy, Kenneth (Maureen), Tony (Karen), David, Shirley Ann (Jason), Patricia (Jeremy), Wanda, Gordie (Tammy) and Nicholas (Rebecca); eighteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Mae Flynn, Fox Harbour, Placentia Bay; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. Glenn Jarvis conducted the Funeral Service on Thursday, May 14 at McDowell United Church, Western Bay.
