It is with great sadness that the family of the late Simon Pittman announces his sudden passing on May 12, 2015 at Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn his life partner Elaine Offrey; daughters Helen (Earl), Patricia (Dennis), Alice (Glenn), Elaine (Sherman) and Donna (Howard); son Rock (Marie); grandchildren Debrah (Terrence), Bobby (Michelle), Jonathan, Felicia (Richard), Wendy (Steve), Kaitlyn, Gregory, Mackenzie, Robyn and Adam; great-grandchildren Isabella and Emily, as well as his extended family Larry (Wanda), Michael, Arthur (Joanne), Denise (Larris), Brandon, Dillon, Matthew and Brianna; sisters Helena, Semonne (Peter), Betty (Aloysisus), and Marjorie (Leo); brothers Gerald (Lucy), Chris (Gertie) and Frank (Brenda), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and close family friends, especially his famous shed friends. Visitation was held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Saunders on Wednesday, 7-9 and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 15 with Father Raj officiating.
