Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Garden Home on Sunday, May 17, 2015 of Anita Cheverie, of Charlottetown, in her 98th year.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Cheverie and dear mother of Brenda (Ernest dec.) Bougas of Cape Cod, Mass., and Janice (Robert) Dean of Greenville, N.C. Loving grandmother of Joanne (Jack) Kilmartin of Middleboro, Mass., Wade (Wendy) Mahar of Charlottetown, Kirk (Doreen) Mahar of Denver, CO., Jeff (Lynn) Jardine of Montague and Jason (Krista) Jardine of Waterford, Ont. Great-grandmother of Jake Mahar, Ashton Arsenault, and Chloe and Morgan Jardine.
Anita is also lovingly remembered by her brothers, Ernest (Claudette) Arsenault and Roy Arsenault, both of Summerside. She was also predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. If so desired, contributions in memory of Anita may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Unit or the Garden Home Activity Fund.
