Lorraine passed peacefully at Laurel Place Hospice in Surrey after a six year defiance of cancer. Her husband Sean and her good friend Diane Rainer were there to hold her at the end.
Lorraine attended Gibsons Elementary School and Elphinstone Secondary School as well as schools in Williams Lake and Powell River.
She leaves behind her husband Sean, daughter Emma, father Douglas (Colleen) Elson and mother Patricia Beale, as well as brothers Ross, Martin and Bill (Deanna), three nephews and a niece, many aunts, uncles and cousins in both BC and Australia.
