WOOLRIDGE, Margaret Ruth (nee Gillingham) (February 14, 1932 to January 24, 2009)— Passed peacefully away at the Waterford Hospital on January 24, with her loving husband Ernest and family by her side, Margaret Ruth Woolridge. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Minnie Gillingham, brothers: Gerald, Fred (Anne) and Roy. Leaving to mourn, husband of 53 years, Ernest, daughter Lois Hammond (Chris), sons: Jim (Kay), David (Debra), Linda Woolridge, six grandchildren: Brian (Fatima), Scott, Jane, James (Meghan), Adam, Kathleen, brother Jack Gillingham (Florence), sister Joan Simmonds (Doug), sisters-in-law: Mildred Gillingham and Eve Gillingham. Brother-in-law Don Woolridge (Shirley) and a large circle of family and friends from across Canada and the United States. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of East 2A, Waterford Hospital. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, Freshwater Road, visiting hours from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday evening, 2 to 4 p.m. Monday afternoon and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday evening. Funeral service from Carnell’s Chapel 2 p.m. on Tuesday the 27th, with interment at Mount Pleasant to follow.
