It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vida Greta Nicolle announce her peaceful passing at her home, as she wished, in Three Mile Rock on May 20th, 2015 at the age of 74. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 54 years Walter, her children: Gaius (Michelle), Norine (Dan), Kerry (Janet), her grandchildren: Buck, Afton, Nico (Marla), Jennifer (Brandon), Melissa (Wayne), Phillip (Deanna), Danielle (Ben), Kevin (Lourdes), David (Sheena) and Matthew, great-grandchildren: Kyrah, Zachary, Carter, Nevaeh, Cody, Nicholas, Nolan, Avery, Logan, Gia, Antonio, Vida, Amber, Madison, Peyton, her siblings: Hazel (Hughie), Lorraine (Hedley), Lensie (Erma), Nancy (Otto), Coylie (Daisy) and Elaine (Dwight), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other realtives and friends. Vida was predeceased by her children Buckley and Lensie, parents Hebbert and Hannah Goosney, mother and father in law Harriet and Philip Nicolle, sisters Rellie Payne, Geneva Hynes, and brothers in law Jim Keough, Carl Payne and Cyril Hynes. Friends may visit The Gospel Hall in Parsons Pond all day Friday, from where the funeral will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2015 at 2 PM with Stephen Joyce and Eric Fowler officiating, interment to follow at the Gospel Hall Cemetery in Rocky Harbour.
