BURNETT, EDMOND
Edmond Harrison Burnett passed away peacefully on February 25th at the Ian Anderson House in Oakville, Ontario in his 84th year. Born in Saint John, N.B., Ed was predeceased by his parents, Marie and George, six sisters and six brothers.
He is survived by one sister, Mildred Hamilton of Saint John and several nieces and nephews.
After graduating from St. John Vocational school, Ed enlisted in the RCAF where he served 25 years attaining the rank of Corporal. He was stationed at several bases in Canada including Cold Lake, Alberta and Goose Bay, Labrador as well as an assignment in Egypt with the U.N. Peace Corp. On retiring from the service, he made Ontario his home.
Having never married, he became a father figure to Kim and Sang Pham and Grandpa to Alison Pham. He will be dearly missed, but not forgotten, by his family and friends.
A graveside service and interment of his ashes will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 1650 Manawagonish Road, on June 6th,2015 at 11A.M. A reception will follow at 55 Omega Drive.
