It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Clarence Lewis Eveleigh announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, May 30th, 2015, at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Shirley nee Banks, his children: Donna Osmond (Rendell), Barbara Gale (William John), Craig Eveleigh, & Alvin Eveleigh, his grandchildren: Terrilynn Osmond (Shawn), Robyn Norris (Kirk), Duncan Osmond (Angel), & Neil Osmond, his great grandchildren: Sarah Osmond, Sophie Osmond, Jaden Norris, Rylan Norris, & Isla Osmond, his brother: Calvin Eveleigh (Shirley), & special friend: Fred Wells, Clarence was predeceased by his parents: John & Sarah Eveleigh, his siblings: Violet, Mazie, Egdar, Gladys, & Vera, his daughter-in-law: Michelle Eveleigh, nephew: Ewart Short, niece: Glynis Rice, cousin: Claude Eveleigh, & special friends: Harold & Glen Stride. Also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, othe relatives, extended family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Monday June 1st, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015, at 2:pm, at St. Paul's United Church in Deer Lake, NL, with Rev: Myles Vardy officiating with the burial to follow at the United church section of the community cemetery in Hampden, NL.
