At the Moncton City Hospital on Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, of Charles M. “Chuck” Hickey of Charlottetown, age 69 years. Beloved husband of Norma (nee Morrison). Devoted father of Heather (Trevor Pardy) and Chris. Adoring “Poppy” to Caroline and Cameron Pardy. Also survived by Norma’s children Lorie Shaw (Eddy) and Greg Doucette (Katy), by his sister, Anne Normand (André), by his step-mother, Florence Hickey, by his step-sister, Peggy Morrison (Alan), and by his step-brother, Warren Grant. Predeceased by his first wife, Sandra, by his parents, C.C. “Bill” and Frances Hickey, and by his brother, Norman Hickey. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Friday at 9:45, then to The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home.
