GAYNES, GEORGE "JOE"
It is with great sadness the family announce the death of George “Joe” Gaynes of Hampton who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday May 25, 2015. Joe was born in Saint John in June of 1941. He was the son of the late George and Marion (Kelly) Gaynes.
Joe was a Trailer Technician and worked for Leisure Time Sales and Ritchie’s Building and Flooring Center. In most recent years he was a truck driver for Hatfield’s Auto Glass.
Joe is survived by his loving daughter Anna Glew (Douglas) of BC and his precious grandchildren Jesse Glew and Bailee Glew; friends Michael and Tondalaya Legacy; Heather and Leroy Hatfield and Danny and Derrick Dobson.
Besides, Joe’s parents he was predeceased by his former wife and friend Judy (Pineo) Gaynes and devoted canine companion Finnigan.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). There will be visitation held on Friday, June 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fundy Funeral Home. Private family interment at a later date.
