1929 - 2015
Cap-Pelé, NB – Adrice LeBlanc, 85, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, after a brief illness. Born in St-André, NB, he was the son of the late Guillaume and Emma LeBlanc.
Adrice enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing the accordion, fishing and hunting.
Adrice will be sadly missed by his wife of 60 years, Jeannine; his son, Léonard (Jeannette) of Cap-Pelé; his six daughters, Odette Monahan (Bruce), Bernice Leger (Joël) both of St-André, Brenda Shannon (Tom) of BC, Diane Bélanger (Robert) of St-André, Mona Leger (Michel) of Trois-Ruisseaux and Louise Leger (Maurice) of Cap-Pelé; his ten grandchildren and his sixteen great-grandchildren; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one infant son, Donald; one brother, Roméo; two grandchildren, Joshua and Nina.
Visitations will be at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Slumber Room, on Friday, June 5th, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation on Saturday morning. Funeral service will be held at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church in Cap-Pelé on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:30 am.
Donations to the “Boîte à Lunch de l’école Donat Robichaud”, the “Centre Habiletés Du Sud-Est Inc”, Cap-Pelé or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
