It is with great sadness that the family of the late Armorel Garcin announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the age of 93 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Anne (Larry Donches), Toronto, Garry Garcin (Micheline Lavoie), Montreal, and Derek Garcin (Cathy), Pasadena; grandchildren: Dwayne (Barb), Nathalie (Bill), Melanie (Mike), and Annick (Shawn); great-grandchildren: Katie, Matthew, Laurence, Shayne, Ben, Clara, Garcin, and Brett; great-great-grandchildren: Austin and Tegan; brother Eldon Tucker; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband George; parents Eldon and Harriett Tucker and brothers: Rex, Jack, and Ralph. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. from First United Church with interment following at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to First United Church, Corner Brook Long Term Care Restorative Care Unit or Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
