It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wesley Joseph Gallant announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in Benoit's Cove at the age of 33 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his father Gerard Gallant (Linda Wells); brother Maury Gallant (Crystal Butler); half-sister Phoebe (Andy) Bartlett; children: Morgan and Nathan Compagnon and Gracie Bennett; grandmother Cecilia Gallant; nephew A.J. Bartlett; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother Rowena Gallant, grandfather Stephen Gallant and grandparents Sarah and Gordon Fewer. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Benoit's Cove with Father Don Leonard officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
