WIGGINS, CONSTANCE ALBERTA
(1921-2015)
On Sunday, June 14, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, Constance A. (Raynes) Wiggins, passed away peacefully at the Marysview Special Care Home in Hampton, NB. Born in Saint John, August 12, 1921, she is the daughter of the late Stanley and Agnes (Belyea) Raynes and loving and devoted wife of 70 years to the late Richard E. Wiggins.
She loved her family dearly and her greatest joy came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light in her eye. Connie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be lovingly remembered by her family.
Connie will be dearly missed by her son R. David (Shirley) of Waterborough, NB; daughters Anne Coughey (Doug) of Guelph, ON and Janice Fanjoy (Leonard) of Quispamsis, NB; brother Donald Erwin (Debra) of Hampton, NB; sisters Connie Kierstead of Saint John and “Buddy” Elliott (Paul) of Tiverton, NS; sister-in-law Loretta Totton of Alyesford, NS; grandchildren Greg Coughey (Pam), Angela Jewell, Luke Coughey (Jennifer) and Tawnya Fanjoy (Ross Britton); seven great-grandchildren; her special friend Goldie Smith and several extended family members.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Ronald and Glendon Raynes and Douglas Totton and sister Barbara Chivers.
Special thanks to Connie’s angels at the Marysview Special Care Home who cared for her so lovingly. Your kindness will always be remembered.
Arrangements entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) By Connie’s request, there will be no visiting or funeral service. A private graveside committal will take place at a later date in St. Luke’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Young’s Cove, NB. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
