Peacefully at the Prince Edward Home on Thursday, January 29, 2009, of Mrs. Theresa “Dee” MacDonald (nee MacIntyre) of St. Andrews, P.E.I., age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Donald J.J. “Dee” MacDonald, and dear mother of Joey (Peggy), Brian (Shirley), Paul (Ann), Cathy (Billy) MacDougall, Harold (Linda), Urban (Tammy), and Marion (Gordon) Mosher. Theresa will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her grandchildren Trish, Trevor, Sherri (Clark), Mike, Heather, Andrew, Holly, Lisa, Nicole (Oomen), Ryan, Tyson, Amanda, Venessa, Megan and Nathan MacDonald, Ben and Peter MacDougall, Cheryl, Wayne and Spencer Mosher, and Cory Gallant; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Albert (Phyllis) MacIntyre, Neta (Jim) Fleming, Joan (Eddy) Lund, and Buddy (Jane) MacIntyre; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay MacIntyre, Rita Morrison, Bernadette Pineau, Anita Hughes, Urban MacDonald, Jack (Marion) MacDonald, Jim (Anita) McGuigan and their families. Besides her husband “Dee”, she was predeceased by her infant daughter, Mary Theresa; parents, John and Marion (Steele) MacIntyre; brothers and sisters, Vince (Reta), Valentine (Ada), William, Clarence, Cyrene, Reg, Mary (Peter) Doucette, Evelyn (Bertie) MacDonald, Kay (Jim) MacNicholas and Winnie (Charles) Murphy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary (Joe) Coade, Harold (Rita) MacDonald, Theresa McGuigan, Bernice (Ron) MacLean, Cy Morrison, and Jack Hughes. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:15 Monday morning, then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery. If so desired, memorials in Theresa’s memory may be made to St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery Fund, Alzheimer Society of P.E.I. or Canadian Diabetes Association.
