Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home, surrounded by her family, on June 16, 2015 of Rose Mary Howatt, of Charlottetown and formerly of London, England.
Beloved wife of the late James E. Howatt and dear mother of John Howatt (Marina Dunn), Linda Hazelwood (Bill dec.) and David Howatt. Loving grandmother of Jeremy Howatt (Kortney), Nicole Hazelwood-McGee (Troy), James Howatt, Amanda Quinn (Bill) and great-grandmother of Taylor, Rileigh, Nathaniel, Michael, Hope, Owyn and Sophie. Sister of Dorothy Stronach (Alex), George Crook of London, England, and sister-in-law of Eleanor Howatt. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Rose was also predeceased by her parents, Charles Henry and Rose (Kemp) Crook, and her sister, Pamela Gerrlia.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Members of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Women's League will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Friday at 3:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Rose Mary may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre.
