Christena 'Chris,' USAF retired, passed away peacefully on Dec. 9, 2014, at her nursing home in Chestnut Hill, from Alzheimer's disease.
Devoted daughter of Jack and Rebecca (Coady) McEachern, Chris was born in Glace Bay, N.S. on March 7, 1933.
The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 23, 11 a.m. at St. Joachims Church, Southside Boularderie. The Rev. Peter McLeod will be officiating. The burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Glace Bay.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Currys Glace Bay Funeral Home, 775 Main St.
