We regret to announce the passing of Neil Ginter, 75, of Sydney Mines, on Monday, June 22, 2015, at home.
Born in Sydney Mines on Nov. 1, 1939, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary Ann (Jackson) Ginter. He spent many years working in Ontario, before retiring in Sydney Mines.
He is survived by his sisters, Amy (Mike) Carbury, Winnie Weir, Peggy Ginter and Helen Ginter and brothers, Blair (Liz) Ginter and Allister Ginter. He was a special uncle to Shawn Ginter, and will also be missed by his good friend, Lawrence White.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Florence Morrison; sisters, Annie, Audrey and Elda and brothers, Clifford 'Buddy', Lloyd and Russell.

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Neil’s life will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Carman United Church, Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines, with Rev. Nick Philips officiating.
