It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sharon Annette Wicks announce her passing on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 54 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her mother Joan Wicks (nee Pike); sister Marilyn Luscombe; brother Karl Wicks; nephews and niece: Christopher Luscombe (Dawn), Cortney Luscombe (Mark Bossenberry) and Jamie Luscombe (Heather); great nieces and nephew: Ava Rose, Regan, Sopfia and Ella; aunt Goldie Sheppard; care givers: Rosalind Michael, Margaret Roche, Jackie Brake, Kayla Power and Angela Payne; as well as a large circle of cousins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Willis Wicks. Cremation has taken place. Friends visited Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Wednesday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 25 at 2 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Rev. John van Vliet officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
