MOORCROFT, ELEANOR LOUISE
Eleanor L. Moorcroft of Pokiok, NB, wife of Arwood Moorcroft, passed away June 23, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Eleanor was born at Dumfries, NB, a daughter of the late Ervil and Sybilla (Carlin) Mabie.
She was a longtime member of the Nackawic Lions Club.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jeff Moorcroft, Pokiok, NB and Donnie Moorcroft (Tina), Temperance Vale, NB; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Moorcroft (Richard) Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Andrew Moorcroft (Nicole), Dustin Moorcroft (Roma), Jeffery Moorcroft (Kayla), Shane and Ryan Moorcroft, Andreal Moorcroft and Billie Jo Mallet (Jr); three great children, D’artagnan, Kyle and Clayton; two sisters, Rita Mills (Bob), Fredericton, NB and Paddy Mabie, Nackawic, NB; sisters-in law, Arleigh and Elaine Mabie, Dumfries, NB and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in the Moorcroft family; a special friend, Sharon Berube, Nackawic, NB and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by a son, Billy Moorcroft, a grandson, Tony and brothers Jack and Paul Mabie.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. On Thursday at 6:45 the Nackawic Lion Club will hold a tribute service. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Paul Leger officiating. Interment will follow at Otis Cemetery.
