ACKERMAN, Howard– Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Thursday, January 29, 2009, Howard Ackerman, age 80 years of Centreville. Predeceased by his parents John and Susannah; step-father Harold Pickett; brothers: Lester, Joseph; sisters: Stella, Pearl and Honor. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Margaret; two daughters: Lorraine, Patricia (Jerry Lush) all of Centreville; two grandsons: Kerry (Tracy) of Bauline, Jamie (Sherry) of Bradford, Ontario; four great-grandchildren: Tianna, Cruz, Tanya, Porsha; one sister Katherine (Carl Davis) of Centreville and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville on Sunday, February 1 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Margaret Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Centreville. Donations may be made in his memory to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville.
