FOWLOW, Muriel – Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Friday, January 30, 2009, age 90 years, Muriel Fowlow, long-time resident of Mount Pearl and former proprietor of Fowlow’s Store. Predeceased by her husband Bert, daughter Hannah, sister Florence Power (Albert), brother Kenneth Moriarity and brother-in-law Lin Fowlow. Left with fond and loving memories, daughters Violet White (Matt), Patricia Dunne (Kevin), Ruth Hamel (Pierre) and Darlene Fowlow Nelder (Rick); sons Bert Fowlow (Dianne) and Tony Fowlow; grandchildren Mandy, Melanie, Daniel, Patrick, Lidia, Kelly, Paddy and Mitchel; great-grandson Nathan, brother John Moriarity (Monnie); sisters-in-law Mary Fowlow and Betty Moriarity; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Patrick O’Shea and the staff and administration of 3E and 3W at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for their great compassionate care. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, February 2, at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Church, Topsail Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
