Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family, Mary Alice House (nee Biggin) of Bellburns, at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 75 years Douglas Sr.; her eight children: Reg (Joyce), Bertha, Doug (Maureen), Otto (Adelaide), Linda (Lewis), Rod (Evelyn), Genevieve, Juanita (Clement); 25 grandchildren; 44 great- grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren, and her two sisters: Edith House, and Elsie Payne, also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. Mother was predeceased by her son: Archibald, daughter-in-law: Amelia, son-in-laws: Henry, Fred and Warren, granddaughter: Elizabeth, sisters: Ivy and Fannie, brothers: Eli, Howard and Archibald, and her parents, Elizabeth and William Biggin. The family received family and friends at St. Aiden's, Anglican Church in Bellburns, on Friday, July 3 from where the funeral service took place on Saturday, July 4 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Burial followed at the family plot at Spudgells Cove.
