TREFRY, Viola – age 90, of Yarmouth, passed away in the Yarmouth Hospital on July 1, 2015. Born in West Green Harbour, Shelburne County, N.S., she was the daughter of the late John and Seletha (Bush) Enslow. She was a member of the Yarmouth North United Baptist Church, and member of the Women’s Missionary Society and Ladies Auxiliary. Viola worked at Dominion Textile for 33 years. She is survived by stepchildren Sandford Harding, Brooklyn, Yarmouth Co., Shirley Burgess, Liverpool, NS, Gwenneth D’Eon, Yarmouth, NS. Viola was predeceased by first husband Leland Harding, second husband Ernest (Alan) Trefry and brothers Morris, Russell, Sidney, Everett, Percy, Manson, and Andrew; sisters Emma, Eula, Rhoda, Coralee, Doris, Norma, and Geneva. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There was no visitation by family request. A funeral service was held Monday, July 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. A.D. “Bill” Newell officiated. Interment took place in the Arcadia Cemetery.
