It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Reginald Collier announce his passing on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 73 years. He will be forever loved, missed and remembered by his wife Marion; grandchildren: Tristan, Meaghan (Moo), Katrina, Kavanaugh, Holly, Sarah, Tyler, Faith; great-grandchildren: Randy, Connor, Grayson, Kayden; daughters-in-law: Kimberly, Elaine; brother Ralph (Leona); sister Lorraine and many nieces, nephews other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents James & Meta Collier; sons: Randy and Rod; brother Harvey; mother & father-in-law Sabina & Silas Ralph. James will always be remembered as a loving and giving person. A family man who always put others before himself. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a source of great joy to him. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 10th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing, NL. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Hillview Ave., Stephenville with Father Nick Griffith and Rev. Gwen Butler officiating. To honor James' wishes cremation will take place following the service with inurnment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Gallants. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website at www.fillatre.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
