NOEL, GERARD
With his family by his side, the death of Gérard Joseph Henri Noël of Scotchtown, NB occurred Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Oromocto Public Hospital.
Born July 15, 1949 in St. Sauveur, NB he was the son of the late Gustave and Sara (Larocque) Noel. Gerry was a kind and humble man with a great sense of humor. He was an outdoor enthusiast, he loved hunting, fishing, boating and long walks in the woods. A boilermaker by trade and a member of the International Boilermaker Association Local 73.
He is survived by his loving companion and best friend, Albertine Cormier; a son, Marc (Diane); a daughter, Melanie Noel; two grandchildren, Samantha Savage (Ben) and Veda-Grace; great grandchild, Ezra Savage; his family, Noella (Didier Chiasson), Alyre (Micheline), Lucienne (Médard Parise), Irma (Late Georges), Diane (Gilbert Morais), Hermel (Nancy), Gilberte (Claude Chiasson), Eveline (Ovid Frigault), Jerome (Sylvie), Gustave Jr Ti-Gus (late Huguette), Lucille (Marc Chiasson), sister-in-law, Georgeline; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Gerard was predeceased by Etienne and Leolin and a sister in infancy Léonne
Funeral Service will take place 11:00AM Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from Christian Community Church, Minto, NB. Interment will take place in Scotchtown Cemetery. A reception to follow in Douglas Harbor Hall.
