It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Hubert Joseph Gould of Reef’s Harbour on July 2, 2015 at the Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn his sisters Loretta Savard, and Margaret (Harold) Smith; his brothers Pius and Nelson; sister-in-law Mary Gould and other relatives and friends. Hubert was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Eliza Gould, brothers Eugene and Howard, sister Leah Pearce, sisters-in-law Norma Gould, Francis Gould, Marie Gould and brothers-in-law Jacques Savard and Ira Pearce. Visitation took place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook on Friday, July 3 and continued on Saturday, July 4 at St. Margaret’s of Scotland Anglican Church in Reef’s Harbour from where the funeral service was held on Sunday, July 5 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Harold Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery in French’s Cove. Special thanks to the all staff and residents at the Long Term Care Facility, Corner Brook.
