Passed suddenly away after a lengthy illness and courageous battle on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, (Lawrence) Michael Power, age 50 years. Predeceased by his father (James) Lawrence Power. Leaving to mourn his beautiful wife and best friend of 22 years Andrea (nee Bowering); precious daughter Meagan; mother Patricia Power; sisters Geri (Blair) Holden, Kim (Stephen) Barnes; father and mother-In-law Lester and Ann Bowering; sister-in-law Debbie Bowering; nieces Kylie (Matt) Power, Alex (Jamie) Holden, Mackenzie Armstrong, nephew Scott Holden and life time best buddy Joey Johnson, as well as a very large circle of family and friends both in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Many thanks to Dr. Harrington and the staff of 5th floor East, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Mike's memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from St. Paul's Church, Newfoundland Drive at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow, Burial will take place at a later day.
