LOVE, GEORGE HENRY
George H. Love of Canterbury, NB passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital on July 16, 2015. George was born at Dumfries, NB in 1929, a son of the late Harry and Jessie (Lockhard) Love.
George lived and worked his entire career in British Columbia, retiring back to NB. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and a past member of the Lytton Lions Club. George enjoyed carpentry, fishing, kayaking, reading and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by a sister, Edna Corey (David), Rossville, NB; two brothers, Ed Love (Zula), Canterbury, NB and Vernon Love (Alleen), Nackawic, NB; a sister-in-law, Marie McGuire and a brother-in-law, Perley Crain; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Lewis Love; a sister-in-law, Eileen Love; two sisters, Della Crain and Mary Montgomery and a brother-in-law, Don Montgomery.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday evening from 6 to 9 pm. A graveside service and interment will be held at the Barony Cemetery on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Greg Williams officiating.
