STEEVES, KAREN DAWN
At the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 16, 2015, Karen Dawn Steeves went to be with the Lord. “Absent from the body, present with the Lord.”
She was born at Sackville Memorial Hospital on July 12, 1950, the daughter of Wade and Jean Steeves.
She spent 32 years in the nursing profession at the Saint John General Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital. Most of her career was with the Nephrology Nursing Program- Nurse Manager of the Hemodialysis Unit. She retired in 2005.
She is survived by her mother, Jean (Stoddard) Steeves and her sister Janice Steeves. Her father, Wade, passed away in April 2015.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, (634-7425) with visitation held on Friday evening from 5pm-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 18 at 10 am from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel with interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, 1167 Salisbury Road, Moncton, immediately following the service.
