It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Terry announce his sudden passing on Saturday July 18, 2015 at his family residence in Irishtown, NL in his 82nd year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 55 years Ida (nee Murphy), daughters: Emma Piercey, Darlene Terry- Payne (Harold), Faye Anderson (Leonard), Shirley Terry, sons: Rick Terry, Derek Terry, precious granddaughter Jacey Terry, special furry pud Tony, sisters: Josephine Hunt (Frank), Jane Clark, Mary (Mame) Hann, brothers: Gerard Terry (Mae), Cyril Terry (Marilyn), sister- in- law Olive Ellsworth (Ralph), and a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Marie Terry, parents: Hughie and Mary Terry, brother: Michael Terry, sister: Agnes Porter. Parents-in-law Effie and Ensie Murphy, brothers-in-law Joseph Clark, Herbert Hann jr, Edgar Porter, Ed and Rod Murphy, sister-in-law Isabelle Hunt and his special pup Rusty. Family and friend may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Monday and Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Hallows Parish Humber Road on Wednesday at 10:30 am with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
