Blackwood, Joshua Dwight Joseph — Passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, January 29, 2009. Joshua Blackwood, aged 22 years. Forever loved by his parents: Dwight and Maxine (nee Dawe) Blackwood; sisters Tara (Peter), Tennille (Jonathan) and Courtney (Adam); grandfather Irvine Dawe (Isabel); partner Steven Carew; nephews Jorden and Jacob; special aunt Betty (Wilf); and also aunts Jeanette (John), Mary (George), Vera, Shirley (Frank), Linda (Bob), Bernice (David), Diane (Jim), and Joanne (Paul), Kathy (Scott) as well as many other relatives and friends including his co-workers. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday and Monday from 10-12 noon, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will take place at Wesley United Church on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
