Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 Olive Sturge age 88 years of Pound Cove. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth; parents Sandy and Gladys Wilkins; sister Marjorie and brother Samuel. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Gerald(Virginia) of Mt. Pearl and Rick(Cristal) of Ft. McMurray, AB; daughters Marie(Leslie Hann) of Badger’s Quay, Ruby(Mike Hussey) of Portugal Cove, Sheila(Clyde Hann) of Iqaluit and Rose(Boyd Vincent) of Valleyfield; brother Nat Wilkins of St. John’s; sister Susie Stockley of Wesleyville; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Pound Cove on Saturday, July 25, 2015 with Rev. Cindy Graham officiating. Interment followed at The Anglican Cemetery, Pound Cove. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. As an expression of sympathy donations in Olive’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Pound Cove.
