O’MARA, Bessie – Passed peacefully away at Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on Friday, January 30th, 2009, Bessie (Betty) O’Mara (nee Woolridge) in her 96th year. Predeceased by her parents Archibald and Lydia May Woolridge, brothers Art, Ron and Frank and sisters Lilly, Stella and Effie. Leaving to mourn her loving son Frank (Ocala, Florida); grandchildren: Gary (Buffalo, NY) and Kim (Wayne Scheffler) Las Vegas, Nevada and great-grandchildren Sean, Megan and Jessica O’Mara and Haleigh Scheffler; sisters-in-law Eileen Pollard and Mary Woolridge and a number of nieces, nephews, especially Karen Cook and Hilda Pollard Milley for their loving care and support. Many thanks for the exceptional care given to Bessie by the staff at Hoyles especially East 1 and North 1. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, February 2, 2009 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
