WHITE, Leah – Passed peacefully away on Friday, January 30, 2009 with her family at her side, Leah White in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Ray and son Gary. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her two daughters: Shirley Chafe and Daphne Pierce; eight grandchildren: Craig, Sherry, Michelle, Jacqueline, Terri-Lynn, Annette. Rick, Stephen and their families; one brother Ron Burry (Nellie); three sisters: Alma Carter (Llewlyn), Mary Eveleigh and Ida Winter; sister-in-law Jean White; special cousin Edna Rowe and an extended circle of family and friends, including care giver Mary Kinsella. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 pm. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, February 2nd, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at The Field of Honor, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
